More about your Audi Q4 E-Tron
Collision Avoidance Assist allows the driver to steer around obstacles during a critical situation, the system uses data from the two radar sensors and the front camera. The technology calculates a suitable evasive manoeuvre corridor and takes into account the distance, width and offset of the vehicle driving ahead, if the system detects any issues, it will warn the driver with a jolt. If the first warning is ignored the technology will apply a slight steering torque and help by correcting the driver’s steering input or by helping the driver to make a lane change.
The Audi Q4 E-Tron has been designed with modern-day driving in mind, its 360-degree cameras can scan and then display obstacles within the vicinity. The driver can choose from different views that can be used to simplify parking and manoeuvring. A virtual overhead view is shown in the MMI display providing the driver with an overview of the parking situation and allowing the driver to carefully use the cameras to complete tricky parking situations.
One of the Driver Assistance systems that the Audi Q4 E-Tron is equipped with is the Audi Pre Sense. This inclusive package includes safety sensors and features that work to protect the driver and the vehicle. The system works by using cameras and radar sensors to keep track of dangers around the vehicle, it detects pedestrians, cars, and other potential dangers. If the technology detects danger the front seatbelts will automatically tighten seatbelts, the vehicle's windows will close, and warning lights will activate on the vehicle to warn the driver of any dangers ahead. The clever system also works alongside other Driver Assistant technologies such as Vehicle Exit Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Assist, Collision Avoidance Assist, Turns Assist and many more.
The Q4 E-Tron has a head-up display that uses Augmented reality to project information that is seemingly on the road including traffic information, warning signs and navigation details. All information appears in line with the driver’s vision meaning they can carry on concentrating on the road ahead and still retain all the important information required to drive with confidence.
What's my Towing Capacity?
The Audi Q4 E-Tron has a towing capacity of around 1000-1200KG, this is the perfect capacity for hitching a cycle carrier to your towbar or a trailer. We would always recommend checking the weights of what you are towing before beginning to tow as overloading the towbar can lead to damage to your vehicle or the object you are towing coming loose.
Which Towbar is best for my Q4 E-tron?
We stock a range of Audi towbars, including Flange, Swan Neck, and Detachable towbars. For the Audi Q4 E-tron, we recommend a Detachable Swan Neck Towbar as you can remove the neck section and keep the car's aesthetics as you wouldn't know a towbar has even been fitted! With fixed flange and fixed swan neck towbars, we couldn't guarantee it won't set your parking sensors off. The detachable options remove this concern as it is narrow fitting and can be removed when you're not towing.
Will it need a bumper cut?
When fitting a towbar to the Audi Q4 E-Tron there are no bumper modifications required, however, if your E-Tron has non-standard bumper trims, there may need to be an incision made during fitment. Our informative towbar engineer will guide you through the fitment process before the installation begins, they will also answer any queries you may have.
