More about the Audi Q7
The safety features have been rated highly when put in a crash test; these include forward collision warning with automatic pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control and a surround-view parking camera system. The cutting-edge technology has been created to put the driver's mind at ease and allow them to enjoy the driving experience. From Hill-hold assist to all-around parking sensors, there's very little that has been left out.
Hill-hold assist is the perfect function for driving on rural terrain; there's no longer any need to panic about having to start your car on a hill as the Q7 has it covered. The system is activated when you press and hold the brake pedal for a few seconds, this only works when the vehicle is on a slope or facing uphill. When the brake pedal has been released, the brake force will be maintained for a few seconds to hold the car, making it easier to drive away.
To help manage the generous towing capacity on the Audi Q7, some clever features allow the driver to drive the car when towing efficiently. The All-wheel drive allows the drive to improve handling, traction, and control, making it a much smoother drive. If you need to navigate a small space, the All-wheel steering provides the driver with a counter-steer of up to five degrees in slow-speed situations.
The Audi Q7's Adaptative air suspension adds an additional 50mm of ground clearance when driving on rural terrain. This suspension can also adapt to road conditions and landscape to allow a seamless drive in all driving conditions.

What’s the Towing Capacity of the Audi Q7?
The new Audi Q7 has an impressive towing capacity of 3500KG, meaning it has the maximum towing capacity available. There is very little off-limits when deciding on what you would like to tow. However, please be mindful that different bumper variants can change the towing capacity slightly, and therefore the best way to get an accurate towing capacity is to refer to your cars Vin Plate.
Which Towbar is best for my Audi Q7?
We currently only offer the detachable swan neck towbar and the fixed flange towbar for the Audi Q7. The detachable swan neck towbar is an excellent fit for the Audi Q7, as when you have completed towing, you can simply remove the towbar neck to return the car to its original aesthetics. The detachable swan neck works beautifully alongside rear parking sensors, as its thin design means there is a greater clearance between Towbar and sensors. As stated previously, it can be removed when you are no longer towing.
Although we know not everyone wants to remove the Towbar from the vehicle, so the fixed flange towbar is a perfect choice. This Towbar allows for towing accessories to be fitted to the backplate of the Towbar, meaning you use the towball for towing and the backplate for your chosen accessory. Due to the chunkier design of the fixed flange towbar, it can interfere with rear parking sensors when in reverse, depending on where the sensors have been positioned.
Will it need a bumper cut?
The detachable swan neck requires a non-visible bumper cut to be made to the undertray of the vehicle; this means that the cut would only be noticeable when looking directly underneath the car. If your vehicle has a different bumper style, this could mean a larger incision has to be made, so please check with our sales team if you are unsure.
