Types of Towbars
Make sure you get the right towbar for the job
There are 2 styles of towbar available. You can choose between either a flange ball towbar, where the towbar has a faceplate with the towball bolted to it or you can get a swan neck towbar which has a one-piece neck with the towball attached.
The swan neck towbar is available as a detachable option, where the neck can be removed from the towbar when you are not using it.

How long does a towbar installation take?
Most towbar fittings take 1.5 to 4 hours, depending on the vehicle and electrics. Our fitters will give you a clear time estimate on arrival.

Will the towbar affect my vehicle warranty?
No. All towbars we fit are EC Type Approved where required, meaning they meet the same standards as manufacturer‑supplied equipment. In addition, we only fit vehicle specific wiring.

Do you fit towing electrics as well?
Yes — we install 13‑pin electrics on every towbar installation, including vehicle‑specific wiring kits for full compatibility with modern safety systems such as parking sensors, stability control, and trailer detection.
If you require 7 Pin or Twin Electric Sockets for an older trailer or caravan, you can add an adapter sold on our website.

Yes. We select towbars that minimise interference with parking sensors. If you choose a detachable towbar, the towball can be removed when not in use for a cleaner look and reduced sensor activation.
