More about the Audi Q3
Equipped with intuitive technology, the Q3 comes with an MMI Navigation Plus with a touch display; it can even recognise handwriting. The Audi Smartphone interface has a wireless function allowing seamless integration between mobile devices and the vehicle.
The Audi Q3s infotainment system is top-of-the-line and offers a navigation system that recognises the driver's preferences based on previous journeys; it also streams live traffic information, information on parking spaces and petrol stations, current speed limits and hazardous spots.
The Q3 works to provide driver convenience with systems that allow the vehicle to take over whilst the driver enjoys the ride. The adaptive cruise assist is a highlight of the assist systems; it incorporates the functions of adaptive speed assist, traffic jam assist and active lane assist. Assisting the driver with longitudinal and lateral control enhances comfort, especially during long journeys.
The 360-degree cameras make manoeuvres easier than before and, teamed up with the park assist technology, means no stress is needed when squeezing into that tight sport. The Park Assist steers the car automatically into and out of parking spaces; all the driver needs to do is accelerate, brake and shift gears.

What's my Towing Capacity?
The Audi Q3 has an approximate towing capacity of 1,700KG - 2,200KG. The best way to receive an accurate towing capacity for your vehicle is by checking your vin plate. This is usually located under the bonnet or on the passenger door sill. Our sales team will be happy to help if you need any further assistance.
Which Towbar is best for my Audi Q3?
There are three styles of Towbar available for the Audi Q3, a fixed flange style, a fixed swan neck style towbar and a detachable swan neck towbar. All three towbars can tow caravans, cycle carriers and trailers; however, on the fixed flange towbar, an ALKO towball will need to be purchased if you are using an ALKO-style stabiliser.
The fixed flange towbar is an excellent option for those who do not wish to remove the Towbar after they have finished towing, although the chunkier design is known for causing some interference from the rear parking sensors. The fixed flange towbar is great for pairing with towing accessories such as bumper protector plates and bolt on cycle carriers. The accessories use the bolt on plate at the rear of the towbar meaning the driver is able to use the accessories at the same time as towing.
The fixed swan neck towbar has a thinner towbar neck to the fixed flange towbar and therefore is less likely to be detected by parking sensors; however, this is not guaranteed. This is a great option for those who prefer a sleeker-looking towbar but do not want to remove it after towing is completed. The fixed swan neck is compatible with all ALKO stabilisers and can be used with all cycle carriers that clamp on to the towball.
The detachable swan neck towbar is the perfect choice for those who want to protect their vehicle's aesthetic. Once towing is completed, the towbar neck can be removed, and the Towbar will appear practically invisible. The towbar neck is removed by unlocking the neck and using a twist and push action. The detachable towbar is also compatible with all ALKO stabilisers and all clamp on style cycle carriers.
Will it need a bumper cut?
When fitting any of the three styles of towbars to the Audi Q3, the engineer must remove the bumper; no modifications, incisions or significant cuts are required. If your vehicle isn't fitted with a standard bumper or has been modified, this could lead to our engineer having to make some slight changes to your vehicle's bumper; however, this will always be discussed before fitment commences.
