What is the towbar rated to on a Citroën Nemo?
The maximum towbar rating depends on the exact Citroën Nemo and towbar application. The towbar has its own maximum towing weight and vertical-load limit, which must be considered alongside the limits specified for the vehicle itself.
A higher-rated towbar does not increase the amount that the Citroën Nemo is permitted to tow. How do I check how much my Citroën Nemo can tow?
The VIN plate will normally show the vehicle's maximum permitted laden weight (Gross Vehicle Weight) followed by its maximum combined vehicle and trailer weight (Gross Train Weight). Subtracting the first figure from the second shows the trailer weight available when the vehicle itself is loaded to its maximum permitted weight.
