More about the Citroen C5 Aircross
The designers at Citroen have worked hard to evolve the existing design of the C5, and the new vehicle boasts a more imposing style and greater elegance on the road. The styling of its front end has had a facelift to elevate the vehicle further and the design of the vehicle has adopted a more assertive and dynamic style.
New Citroen C5 Aircross offers the latest generation driving assistance and connectivity technologies. The driving assistance technologies included in the new Citroen C5 include Keyless entry and start, active safety brake, trailer stability control and many more. The innovative technology that can be found in this vehicle transforms your towing journeys into a positive and reassuring experience.
The new Citroen C5 is available in a plug-in hybrid, petrol, or diesel model. The hybrid model offers optimal performance thanks to its 81kW electric motor which combines with its PureTech 180 petrol engine to give a cumulative power output of 225 hp. It offers the smooth, quiet experience of a fully electric drive, allowing the petrol to step in for those longer journeys.
What's my Towing Capacity?
The Citroen C5 Aircross’ towing capacity usually sits between 1,250kg and 1,450kg, but your exact figure can be found on your VIN plate. This is a sticker that is located on your driver's or passenger side door sill. This must be checked before booking your fitment to ensure your vehicle has the relevant preparation. Which Towbar is best for my C5 Aircross?
If your vehicle is a standard petrol or diesel model, then you can choose from three options for towbars. Fixed flange, fixed swan neck and detachable swan neck. If your vehicle has parking sensors, then we would strongly recommend selecting a detachable towbar to ensure that there is no interference.
Will it need a bumper cut?
To install a Towbar to a Citroen C5 Aircross, our engineer will need to make a small cut on the undertray of the vehicle. This cannot be seen unless you are looking up at the vehicle from ground level but is essential to allow the appropriate clearance for the Towbar neck.
