Citroen DS3 Towbars

Citroen brought the DS3 Crossback to a saturated market of SUVs, but the smaller size of the vehicle means that the DS3 has a USP that other makes and models may not have. DS are a division of the French PSA group, which is the parent company of Citroen, Peugeot and Vauxhall.

Citroen did launch their version of the DS 3 which can be seen in numbers on the roads today, but the vehicle has now received a rebranding when DS became a stand-alone brand. The Citroens version of the vehicle has since been discontinued allowing the new vehicle to assume its name.

The small car was based on the floorplan of the new Citroen C3, with the addition of customisable roof and body panels. The DS3 was named ‘Car of the Year’ in 2010 by Top Gear Magazine and is still a popular choice of vehicle within a competitive market.

The DS3 is available with two petrol engines as well as an electric car that offers a range of 200 miles. DS have plans to go all-electric in the future, and the introduction of the electric version of the DS3 is their first stepping-stone to achieving this.
