More about the Skoda Enyaq IV
The range on the battery is one of the highest, and the Enyaq can travel for up to 339 miles at full capacity depending on the battery type, leaving plenty of power for popping to the shops or commuting to work as well as longer trips away with your family. The onboard predictor has proved to be truly accurate, and whilst the temperature and road conditions can alter the range, it stays true to the battery power left to ensure you and your family will never be stranded.
Skoda has made the Enyaq experience even more personal with four individual design selections available to personalise the interior, allowing you to travel comfortably in an aesthetic of your choice. Similarly to all modern vehicles, the Enyaq’s cockpit includes a 13-inch infotainment screen integrated with a sat-nav, Apple CarPlay and Andriod Auto connectivity.
Unlike some of its rivals within the SUV sector, Skoda has prioritised interior space in the Enyaq, creating a longer rear overhang that delivers a bigger boot for those family staycations. Passengers can travel comfortably with plenty of leg and head space, as well as plenty of door pockets and seat pouches for immediate belongings.
The exterior of the Enyaq still boasts a sporty appeal despite being a family SUV. Practicality meets style in the smooth lines and aerodynamic design of the vehicle, and angled headlights give the Enyaq an edge.
Enyaq’s engineering and high level of safety kit have been a huge selling point for the Electric Vehicle. The standard kit alone includes lane assist, front assist with an emergency braking function, cruise control with a speed limiter and rear parking sensors. The Sportline plus versions feature additional onboard tech such as adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist and a blind spot detection system.
What's my Towing Capacity?
The towing capacity for the Skoda Enyaq sits between 1000kg and 1200kg, allowing it to tow a cycle carrier, trailer, or small-sized caravan. It is important to remember that not all Electric Vehicles are homologated to tow, so you must refer to the VIN plate on your vehicle before booking your towbar fitment. Please bear in mind the addition of a towbar to your Electric Vehicle may impact the range that the battery is capable of.
Which Towbar is best for my Skoda Enyaq?
The fixed flange towbar is ideal for those who wish to mount accessories such as the bumper protector plate to their towbar. This guards the bumper and aids in hitching up to a caravan or trailer without assistance. For bolt-on cycle carriers, a fixed flange towbar is required to mount to the vehicle. Caravans with an alko stabiliser require the alko towball accessory to connect. The fixed flange is not recommended on vehicles with parking sensors, as there is a chance the sensors may detect the towbar.
Although swan neck towbars do not allow the mounting of accessories, they offer increased flexibility for caravans with innate alko compatibility, simply requiring the paint removed from the towball. The compact design of the swan neck also reduces the chance of interference with parking sensors, as the towball is part of the neck rather than bolting on to a faceplate as with the fixed flange.
The detachable variant of the swan neck is recommended for vehicles with parking sensors as the neck can be removed when not in use. A detachable swan neck towbar maintains the alko compatibility of the fixed swan neck whilst avoiding the impact on the vehicle’s aesthetics of a towbar, as it is only visible whilst the neck is attached and being utilised for towing.
Will it need a bumper cut?
Towbars for the Skoda Enyaq require a non-visible cut to a pre-marked area on the bumper, minimising the impact on the vehicle and allowing the detachable towbar to be almost invisible whilst the neck is detached.
