More about towing with the new Skoda Scala

Hill Hold Control works by holding the brake in position while the driver sets up and activates the first gear to move the car from a complete stop.
What’s the Towing Capacity of the Scala?
The towing capacity on the Skoda Scala is between 1200KG- 1250KG; although this is not the largest of capacities, there is still plenty of scope for fitting a cycle carrier onto a towbar. Different models of the Scala do have varying weights, so please check your VIN plate for an accurate reading.
Which Towbar is best for my Skoda Scala?
The only Towbar we have available for the Skoda Scala is the detachable swan neck towbar. This is perfect for the vehicle with parking sensors, as the towbar neck can be removed once towing is completed. The detachable neck will also allow for the ascetics of the vehicle to be unchanged once the towbar neck has been removed.
Will it need a bumper cut?
The Skoda Scala would require a non-visible bumper cut made to the undertray of the bumper. The bumper cut would only be visible when looking underneath the bumper. All modifications made to a vehicle are made as neat as possible.
