More about The Nissan Interstar
There are three trim levels of the Nissan Interstar available: Visia, Acenta and Tekna. The Visia is the standard, essential range offering features such as; front-wheel drive only, nearside sliding door, full steel bulkhead and DAB radio as standard. The Acenta is the next step up, offering a range of additional features, such as; a greater range of height and length options, rear parking sensors, cruise control and speed limiter and passenger airbag.
The final trim option for the Interstar is the Tekna which offers the same specifications as the Acenta with added features such as; automatic wipers and headlights, front parking sensors, rearview camera, and 7" Nissan Connect MediaNav.
The Nissan Interstar not only benefits from the obvious large and versatile load area but also has a generous, practical and connected cabin space that can become an ideal on-the-go office with the Tekna trim level, including the 7" Nissan Connect MediaNav.
The Interstar benefits from various quality features and optional extras, with a commendable storage capacity and multiple adaptable models to choose from, making it trustworthy and multifunctional for those looking for a large modern commercial vehicle.

What's my Towing Capacity?
The Nissan Interstar has an approximate towing capacity of 2000kg. This weight will give the driver many options of what they can hitch up and tow, from a trailer to a medium-sized caravan. To get an accurate towing capacity for your Nissan Interstar, please refer to the VIN plate, which can usually be found on the passenger door sill.
Which Towbar is best for my Nissan Interstar?
Currently, the only Towbar available for the Nissan Interstar is a fixed flange towbar. The fixed flange towbar is a permanent towbar which cannot be removed once fitted to the van; its short and chunky design allows for a more compact style. The flange style can be used with a bumper guard and is one of the more versatile designs of Towbar as they can be used with towball mounted accessories which are bolted behind the towball itself, such as a towbar mounted step, for example. If your vehicle is equipped with rear parking sensors, they are likely to pick up the fixed flange towbar, which can cause some disturbance. An ALKO tow ball will be required if you intend to tow an ALKO stabiliser.
Will it need a bumper cut?
When fitting the fixed flange towbar to a Nissan Interstar, no bumper cut is required, nor does the bumper need to be removed to complete fitment. This is accurate for all standard models of Nissan Interstar; however, if your vehicle has been modified in any way, we recommend you contact our office at 01947 895230.
