What's my Towing Capacity?
The Nissan Navara has a maximum towing capacity of 3,500KG allowing its driver a multitude of options when deciding on what they would like to tow. We always advise referring to your vehicle's VIN plate before making any towing decisions, as not all vehicles offer the same capacity.
Which Towbar is best for my Nissan NP300 Navara?
The Nissan Navara NP300 has the option of the fixed flange towbar when it comes to towing, the strong chunky towbar will provide the pick-up with everything it needs to fulfil its towing purposes. The fixed flange towbar is a permanent style of towbar that is attached to the chassis of the vehicle and cannot be removed. The fixed flange towbar is also the only style of towbar that is fitted with a plate on the rear allowing for towbar accessories to be bolted onto the rear of the towbar, it is also the only style of towbar that is compatible with all styles of cycle carriers. The plate on the towbar allows users to bolt on towbar accessories whilst using the towbar for towing. The fixed flange towbar is compatible with all cycle carriers, trailers, and caravans, however, if you are towing a caravan with an ALKO stabiliser, you will need to purchase an ALKO towball before towing.
Will it need a bumper cut?
When fitting a fixed flange towbar to the Nissan Navara NP300 there are no bumper modifications required, however, if your Navara has non-standard bumper trips there may need to be an incision made during fitment. The informative towbar engineer will guide you through the fitment process before the installation begins, they will also answer any queries you may have.
