More about Nissan Juke Towbars
Nissan has created ProPilot technology to allow its driver to feel confident throughout their entire drive, no matter the situation or the driving conditions. This technology helps the driver set a distance from the car ahead based on the traffic flow. ProPilot can bring the car to a stop and bring you back up to speed depending on the road conditions. When driving on open roads, the technology centres the vehicle in its lane when the road markings are clear. If the vehicle begins to stray out of the lane, the intelligent lane intervention will gently apply the brakes and guide the car back to the centre.
Not every drive will be perfect; human error can and will happen, so intelligent driver assistance technology has been created. Made to back up the driver when something unexpected occurs, the next generation of Nissan Juke has features that step in and take action to keep the driver safe.
Intelligent Emergency braking is an advanced driver feature that monitors the speed and distance between the driver and the car ahead. If the driver is travelling too fast, the technology will inform and advise to slow down. Intelligent Emergency Braking can also automatically engage the brakes to help avoid or lessen the severity of a frontal collision. Although it's not just vehicles the technology detects, if someone is on the pedestrian crossing or a cyclist is in your path, it will respond and assist the driver accordingly.
The Nissan Juke is equipped to take the stress out of any parking situation with the Intelligent Around View Mirror. There is no need to shy away from the tight spaces or hide the curbed alloys from your partner as the advanced technology makes parking easy with its virtual 360-degree bird's-eye view of the Juke.
What’s the Towing Capacity of the Juke?
The Nissan Juke has an approximate towing weight is 1250KG. However, this can vary depending on the different models. If you are unsure of your towing weight, please check your VIN plate located either on the passenger door sill or underneath the bonnet. The technology can be shown on a split-screen and provides close-ups of the front, rear and kerbside. It even warns the driver if it detects movement near your vehicle.
Which Towbar is best for my Nissan Juke?
We offer a detachable swan neck towbar for the Nissan Juke. The detachable swan neck towbar neck can be removed once towing has been completed, leaving the Towbar practically invisible. Due to the thinner design of the towbar neck, the rear parking sensors are unlikely to be affected by the placement of the Towbar; however, as stated previously, the towbar neck can be removed after towing and therefore will not affect the sensors at all once removed.
The Towbar neck can be locked using a key when in use to protect from theft. All detachable swan neck towbars are ALKO compatible and therefore can be used alongside any ALKO stabilizer; they can also be used with the majority of cycle carriers, leaving plenty of choices when it comes to deciding what to tow.
Will it need a bumper cut?
The detachable swan neck towbar requires a non-visible bumper cut to be made in order to be fitted. The modification would be made to the undertray of the Juke and would only be visible if looking underneath the vehicle. Due to the different models/ bumper trims available for the Nissan Juke, we cannot guarantee that all modifications made will be non-visible; if you are unsure if your vehicle needs any further cuts, please contact our sales team who will happily help.
