Once the towbar neck has been removed, the vehicles rear parking sensors are able to work as intended, meaning that there will be no interference when the driver is in reverse. The detachable swan neck towbar is compatible with all trailers, caravans and all clamp on style cycle carriers. ALKO stabiliser can also be used with the detachable swan neck without the need for an ALKO towball.
Will it need a bumper cut?
There is no bumper modifications required when fitting the detachable swan neck towbar to a standard Land Rover Range Rover, however the towbar engineer will removed the bumper for the duration of the installation and refit it upon completion. Due to different bumper trims being available for the Range Rover, some models may require a bumper cut, if you are unsure if this applies to your vehicle please contact our sales team who will happily assist you further.
