More about the Fiat Panda
The light steering and tight turning circles make the Fiat Panda easy to manoeuvre into tricky spaces. The Panda no longer offers a four-wheel-drive option, so it is better suited to city driving than off-roading.
The raised driving position provides a clear view of the road in front, and large rear windows allow a good eye-line for reversing too. Rear parking sensors are not included as standard, but can be added as an optional extra on all trims.
Depending on the version of the Fiat Panda you opt for, there are different infotainment systems available. The cheaper models do not have a touchscreen option but still offer DAB radio and Bluetooth connectivity. The more expensive version of the vehicle boasts a 7” touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
There’s a reasonable amount of space for people in front of the Fiat Panda with ample storage space. Taller passengers in the back of the vehicle may feel cramped as leg room is a little tight. The boot in the Panda is made up of a practical shape but doesn’t offer an abundance of space, so it may be worth looking into a roof box or external storage if you’re planning a luggage-loaded trip.
What's my Towing Capacity?
The towing capacity for the Fiat Panda is around the 800kg mark, allowing it to tow a cycle carrier or small trailer. It is important to remember that not all are homologated to tow, so you must refer to the VIN plate on your vehicle before booking your towbar fitment. Please bear in mind that the addition of a towbar to your Hybrid Vehicle may impact the range that the battery is capable of.
Which towbar is best for my Fiat Panda?
We fit the fixed swan neck or detachable swan neck towbar to a Fiat 500. Either is suitable; however, if your vehicle has parking sensors, then we recommend the detachable swan neck towbar, as you can remove the neck section when you're not towing. With any fixed towbars, we can not guarantee they will not set off the parking sensors, as it depends on the model and bumper shape.
Will a Fiat Panda need a bumper cut?
We will need to cut the bumper, and depending on the bumper style, it may be a visible bumper cut. Please ask our team for further information in regard to this.
