More about the Peugeot 508
The advance in safety measures and parking aids really takes the stress away from the driver. By opting for the vehicle specific wiring this will allow the vehicle to tow effectively without comprising the 508’s modern driving experience. The vehicle specific wiring perfectly complements the vehicle’s technology, making simple tasks such as parking your car easier.
Having dedicated wiring fitted means you no longer hear the constant beeping of reverse sensors when parking, as this can be easily muted with a simple diagnostic update completed at the time of fitment. It will also enable all the tow features that are available for your vehicle, however these features are specific to each model, and it is always best to check which are applicable by looking in the vehicle’s logbook.
When you are towing at night or in low visibility conditions the night vision infrared camera system will kick in and detect the presence of any pedestrians or animals in front of the vehicle beyond the head lights. This technology will make manoeuvring your vehicle whilst towing a lot safer.
Another new feature to the 508 is the Visio Park 1, this allows the driver to safely park into a space without the worry of hitting an obstacle. The 360-view camera highlights any obstacles when reversing into a space, the park assist option is perfect for bay and parallel parking, making parking when towing a whole lot easier.
The family sized boot space (447 litres) is perfect for packing the family in and heading away on a staycation with the bikes, or even hitching up a caravan.
