More about the Peugeot Partner
The economy is the Peugeot Partner’s strong point, thanks to its diesel engine range. The BluHDi100 has the best economy figure of 52.4mpg and offers an economic option for your commute or day-to-day work.
The Partner has developed the old Partner’s platform at the rear, although a comprehensive redesign has made more space and increased payload weights. The cargo volume for the Standard van is 3.3 cubic metres, which increases with the other models available up to 4 cubic metres.
All vans can be fitted with an overload indicator. This is calibrated to calculate how much weight is in the back of the van via how much the rear suspension compresses. You get two warnings on the cargo area-mounted display: one when you're up to 80 per cent of payload capacity, and another when you've exceeded the maximum permissible. The system doesn't prevent you from driving an overloaded van (and it doesn't account for passengers you might be carrying), but it’s handy to ensure that you are not exceeding your limits.

What's my Towing Capacity?
The towing capacity for the Peugeot Partner is between 680kg and 750kg, enabling it to tow a small trailer or cycle carrier. The specific towing limit for your vehicle can be found on the VIN plate, and this must be referred to before booking your towbar installation.
Which Towbar is best for my Peugeot Partner?
There are three different options of towbars for your Peugeot Partner, a fixed flange towbar, a fixed swan neck and a detachable swan neck towbar. All three of the towbar styles are compatible with cycle carriers, however, the fixed flange towbar is the only towbar that can tow cycle carriers that bolt on. The fixed swan neck towbar and the detachable swan neck towbars are both ALKO compatible, meaning any caravan with an ALKO stabiliser can be towed without purchasing an ALKO towball as an extra. The detachable swan neck towbar is the only style of towbar that can be removed once towing has been completed. Using a simple twist and lock method the towbar neck easily detaches from the towbar housing leaving the rest of the towing equipment practically invisible.
Will it need a bumper cut?
There is no bumper cut required to fit any towbar option onto the Peugeot Partner if the bumper is standard. If you have had modifications to your vehicle or a different bumper added, then we would recommend referring to the fitting instructions before booking your installation. Our helpful customer service team will be able to advise should you require any assistance.
