More about the Dacia Duster
The interior of the Dacia Duster provides a tall driver’s seat, giving you a brilliant view of the road ahead and the steering wheel can be adjusted to suit individual driving positions too. The entry-level Essential comes with parking sensors, and the Expression trim hosts a rear-view camera too.
The entry-level Essential includes a basic DAB radio with Bluetooth, four speakers and a USB socket whereas the Essential trim jumps to a touchscreen infotainment system, compatible with Android Auto and Apple Carplay.
The space in the front of the vehicle feels vast and roomy, with lots of free space towards the ceiling of the vehicle as well as plenty of legroom too. The doors offer storage pockets for handheld items as well as a spacious glovebox. The rear of the vehicle is easy to access through large doors, making strapping in the children an easier task, and the high roof provides plenty of headroom for taller passengers too.
The Dacia Duster has a 60/40 split folding rear seat for additional storage, but the large boot makes this SUV an ideal choice for families. The boot can hold 478 litres (or 414 litres if you opt for the four-wheel-drive version), which is enough for any week-long holiday.
What's my Towing Capacity?
The towing capacity for the Dacia Duster varies depending on the model, but some models can tow up to 1500kg. The specific towing limit for your vehicle can be found on the VIN plate, and this must be referred to before booking your towbar installation.
Which Towbar is best for my Dacia Duster?
There are three different options of towbars for the Dacia Duster, they all fit both the two-wheel and four-wheel drive versions as well as models with and without the spare wheel. The three options for the Dacia Duster are a fixed flange towbar, a fixed swan neck and a detachable swan neck towbar. All three of the towbar styles are compatible with cycle carriers, however, the fixed flange towbar is the only towbar that can tow cycle carriers that bolt on.
The fixed swan neck towbar and the detachable swan neck towbars are both ALKO compatible, meaning any caravan with an ALKO stabiliser can be towed without purchasing an ALKO Towball as an extra.
The detachable swan neck is a horizontal style towbar and is the only style of towbar that can be removed once towing has been completed. Using a simple twist and lock method the towbar neck easily detaches from the towbar housing leaving the rest of the towing equipment practically invisible.
Will it need a bumper cut?
When installing a towbar to the Dacia Duster, our engineer will need to make a small incision in the bumper to ensure enough clearance for the towbar itself. Further information on this, including dimensions, can be requested from our customer service team should you require it.
