The Cupra offers several safety features that give peace of mind. The Rear Traffic Alert detects when the vehicle is coming from the side, this is mainly used when reversing out of a parking space. The front Assist prevents collisions to the front of the vehicle; for example, if someone was to step out in front of the car and the driver didn't act quickly enough. Finally, Side Assist detects movement from the vehicle's blind spot; the technology alerts the driver to prevent any collisions. This system makes manoeuvres safer and easier.
The online navigation system provides the driver with real-time updates and will map out the quickest route; all the driver needs to do is input the destination. For those who like to plan their next road trip meticulously, the CONNECT app allows you to plan and customise the route from home; it will then send the directions straight to the Cupra, ready for the big adventure.
What’s the Towing Capacity of the Cupra Leon?

Which Towbar is best for my Cupra Leon?
There are several choices when picking the best Towbar for you, depending on your requirements.
The fixed flange towbar is a permanent towbar that cannot be removed when towing has been completed. The chunky Towbar sits on the vehicle's chassis but can cause an interference if there are rear parking sensors. The fixed flange towbar has a fitted plate on the rear of the Towbar that allows for optional towing accessories to be bolted on. This includes bolt-on cycle carriers and bumper protector plates. The fixed flange towbar can be used with all styles of cycle carriers, trailers, and caravans. However, an ALKO ball will need to be purchased if you tow anything with an ALKO stabiliser.
The fixed swan neck is also a permanent towbar, so it cannot be removed at the end of towing. The difference with the fixed swan neck is it has a much thinner towbar. This allows for more clearance between rear parking sensors, making it less likely to cause any interference when in reverse. The fixed swan neck towbar is compatible with all clamp-on style towbars, trailers and Caravans. No ALKO ball is required when towing an ALKO stabiliser.
The detachable swan neck is the only removable style towbar we offer; this can be removed using a twist and push method to click the towbar neck off easily. Once the towbar neck has been removed, the remaining parts are almost invisible as they neatly tuck underneath the bumper. The detachable swan neck towbar is compatible with all clamp-on towbars, trailers and caravans and can also be used with ALKO stabilisers without requiring an ALKO towball.
Will it need a bumper cut?
There are no modifications needed on the Standard Cupra Leon when fitting a towbar to its chassis. Although if the bumper has been changed in any way or it is not a standard bumper, there may need to be a bumper cut made.
