New Shape 2020 Ford Kuga Towbars
The New 2020 Ford Kuga is available in three hybrid options. The Towbars we fit use the mounting points as specified by Ford. All towbars are Type Approved, available as Flange Towbars, Swan Neck Towbars and Detachable Towbars.
Even though the New Shape Ford Kuga is a Hybrid SUV it still offers powerful towing functions. A great performance car to have if you’re into camping and caravanning, as they’re extremely durable and practical. This is partly thanks to the All-Wheel Drive feature, which is super responsive to cornering balance and grip, so it’s perfect for icy or wet road conditions. The latest models are equipped with technology such as voice control, Wi-Fi connectivity and Innovative Active City Stop, which helps drivers avoid collisions in slow traffic.
What’s my Towing Capacity?
Since the new Ford Kuga has three hybrid options; EcoBlue, Full and Plug-in Hybrid, we recommend you check the towing capacity on your vehicle. You can find more information about the towing capacity here. The max towing capacity on the New Ford Kuga allows it to tow up to 2260kg, with a nose weight or vertical load of up to 100kg.
Will it need a bumper cut?
We need to remove your bumper for fitment; however, no bumper cut is needed on the standard models! On upgraded bumper shape models, there may be a bumper cut. If your vehicle isn’t a standard model, it may be best to call our customer service team for more information.
Which Towbar is best for my vehicle?
We stock a range of Ford Kuga towbars including the Flange, Swan Neck, and Detachable towbars. Detachable Swan Neck Towbars are perfect for the New Kuga as you can remove the neck section and keep the car’s aesthetics since you wouldn’t know a towbar has been fit! With the fixed flange and fixed swan neck towbars, we couldn’t guarantee it won’t set your parking sensors off. The detachable options remove this concern as it is narrow fitting and can be removed when you’re not towing.

How do I book a Towbar Fitment?
We know our customers lead busy lives, which is why our Engineers will come to your home or your place of work. You can choose whether you want your appointment to be in the morning between 8 am and 12 pm or in the afternoon between 12 pm and 6 pm. Our team will fit your Towbar at a time convenient to you. Depending on your vehicle, our Towbar fitting service can take as little as one hour and up to four hours.

You can book your date, time and location all online, and we will take care of the rest. We will bring everything needed to complete the job in one appointment. If you order any Cycle Carriers or accessories with your Towbar, the Engineer will also bring those.
