Which Towbar is best for my vehicle?
There are three different styles of towbars available for the Hyundai Tucson, the fixed swan neck towbar, the fixed flange towbar, and the detachable swan neck towbar.
The detachable swan neck towbar is the only style of Towbar that can be removed once towing has been completed. Using a twist and push method, the detachable swan neck towbar can be easily detached from its housing. The detachable swan neck towbar is thin in design, making it perfect for vehicles with rear parking sensors. The detachable swan neck towbar is compatible with all clamp-on cycle carriers, trailers and caravans. The detachable swan neck towbar is also ALKO compatible; therefore, an ALKO towball is not required when towing an ALKO stabiliser.
Will it need a bumper cut?
When fitting any of the three towbars to the Hyundai Tucson, the bumper will be removed during fitment; however, this will be refitted at the end of the towbar installation. No bumper cut is required for the standard bumper design; however, if the vehicle has been modified or upgraded, this may differ.
