Some of the Vauxhall Grandland X’s have a hands-free powered tailgate, where you can open the boot just by waggling your foot under the rear bumper. This is perfect if you’re weighed down with shopping or heavy loads. When your vehicle has this feature, we may have to move it to the side where you don’t bump your foot on the towbar.
Vauxhall Grandland X Towbars | We have two towbars available for the Grandland X; one a fixed swan neck towbar and one a detachable swan neck. During tests, the supple approach to bumps didn’t compromise the Grandland X in the lane-change test, in which the Vauxhall stayed under control even with the caravan sliding around behind it.
The Vauxhall Grandland X Towbars are available for both the standard and hybrid models. We always recommend you check the VIN plate on your vehicle for a towing capacity. Some Hybrid vehicles are unsuitable for towing as they don’t have a towing capacity.
We would also recommend you choose the vehicle-specific wiring as opposed to the universal aftermarket wiring, as this vehicle will go into towing mode when you have something attached to the towbar. Function for this car will be activated, such as; disabling reverse parking sensors, Automatic Brake Assistant (ABS), and on some models, the self-levelling height adjustment will be activated.
