Witter Detachable Swan Neck Towbar with 13 Pin Dedicated Electrics
Petrol-electric cars are definitely on the up, and the hybrid Toyota CH-R is just the beginning of the electric era. With a towing capacity of 750kg, the CH-R isn’t the meatiest of hatchbacks, but still offers a smooth towing experience for small trailers, trailer tents or cycle carriers.
The only towbar currently listed for the Toyota CH-R is the detachable swan neck - this particular towbar is suitable for vehicles with parking sensors, and can be easily removed without the use of tools.
The Towbar is not so easily removed without a key though, so you don’t need to worry about anybody taking it. The detachable tow bar is perfect for people who want to keep the aesthetic appearance of their vehicle, as the vehicle is returned to it's normal state when the tow bar is removed.
Safety features such as trailer stability control are activated using the dedicated wiring loom, which enables the on board computer system to recognise when you are towing. This ensures you have optimum control whilst towing, and avoids any loss of control you may encounter around those tricky bends.

If your car has parking sensors, it is always best to avoid the fixed flange ball towbar, as the sensors may pick up the towbar neck. On a fixed swan neck we cannot guarantee the parking sensors won’t be activated and so have the detachable Swan Neck and the Detachable Flange Towbars available.
