What's my Towing Capacity?
The Volkswagen Tayron is ready for adventure, with a towing capacity of up to 2.5 tonnes. Whether it’s a caravan, boat, or trailer full of gear, you’ve got plenty of options for what you can take along. To find the exact towing limit for your Tayron, just check the VIN plate on your vehicle.
Which Towbar is best for my Volkswagen Tayron?
For the Volkswagen Tayron, we offer both a fixed swan neck towbar and a detachable swan neck towbar. The slim design makes them a great match for vehicles with rear parking sensors. With the detachable option, you also get the added bonus of being able to remove the towbar neck when it’s not in use — simply take it off and store it away until you’re ready to tow again.
Will it need a bumper cut?
Both the fixed and detachable swan neck towbars require a small cut in the undertray, but don’t worry — it’s completely hidden. You won’t see the incision when looking at the towbar from the front.
