Which Towbar is best for my Volkswagen California?

An Alko towball is required to tow caravans with an alko stabiliser. A fixed towbar may be detected by parking sensors, though this is less likely on larger vehicles such as the California.
The detachable swan neck towbar features a neck which can be removed from the vehicle when the towbar is not in use. This helps to avoid interference with parking sensors and minimises the impact of the towbar on the vehicle’s aesthetics. The swan neck is also compatible with alko stabilisers, simply requiring the paint removed from the towball.
Will it need a bumper cut?
No bumper cut is required for the Volkswagen California, meaning that whilst the neck is detached and the electrics are pivoted up behind the bumper, there is virtually no evidence a towbar has been fitted to the vehicle.
