The Zafira Tourer comes in a large offering of six different trims, starting with an entry-level Design to the high-spec Elite. The Energy trim benefits from sat-nav and chrome details whereas the Sri models boast bigger wheels and sports seats.
All versions of the Vauxhall Zafira come with a wealth of standard features, including 17in allow wheels, cruise control, parking sensors and LED day running lights. The interior of the vehicle hosts air-conditioning, a 7” infotainment system with a touchscreen display and a DAB radio. The interior of the Vauxhall Zafira Tourer is intelligent and neat. The large MPV offers plentiful space too, with room for the heads and legs of the tallest of passengers. For hauling huge amounts though, you can always fold down all five seats and make use of the full length of the vehicle.

What's my Towing Capacity?
The towing capacity for the Vauxhall Zafira Tourer varies depending on the model, but some models can tow up to 1650 kg, which is enough for a trailer, cycler carrier or small caravan. The specific towing limit for your vehicle can be found on the VIN plate, and this must be referred to before booking your towbar installation.
Which Towbar is best for my Vauxhall Zafira Tourer?
There are three different options of towbars for the Vauxhall Zafira Tourer; a fixed flange towbar, a fixed swan neck and a detachable swan neck towbar. All three of the towbar styles are compatible with cycle carriers, however, the fixed flange towbar is the only towbar that can tow cycle carriers that bolt on. The fixed flange towbar may not be suitable for vehicles with parking sensors as they are larger.
The fixed swan neck towbar and the detachable swan neck towbars are both ALKO compatible, meaning any caravan with an ALKO stabiliser can be towed without purchasing an ALKO Towball as an extra.
The detachable swan neck is a horizontal style towbar and is the only style of towbar that can be removed once towing has been completed. Using a simple twist and lock method the towbar neck easily detaches from the towbar housing leaving the rest of the towing equipment practically invisible.
None of these towbars can be fitted to models of the Zafira Tourer that have an underslung spare wheel, so you must check this before booking.
Will it need a bumper cut?
There is a small bumper cut required to fit a towbar onto the Vauxhall Zafira Tourer, however, it is located on the undertray of the vehicle, meaning you will not be able to see it at eye level.
