Adaptive cruise control was added to the Mokka to provide a more relaxing journey; the vehicle will accelerate and automatically brake when required to help always maintain a consistent distance from the car in front. When it comes to changing lanes, the Lane Keep Assist is on hand to monitor the road and use gentle corrective steering if the vehicle begins to drift to one side of the road. The safety feature also gives audio prompts and a mild vibration in the driver's seat to allow the driver to stay alert and well placed in the road.
If the Vauxhall Mokka becomes too close to a car in front or detects a pedestrian or cyclist too close to the vehicle, the Automatic Emergency Braking system will come into force. This system minors the road ahead for vehicles and pedestrians and will apply the brakes when required to help to avoid or to reduce collision damage significantly.
Which Towbar is best for my Vauxhall Mokka?
The fixed swan neck is often chosen by customers who don't wish to remove their Towbar at the end of towing but enjoy the look of the swan neck style towbar. The thinner design is less likely to interfere with parking sensors when the vehicle is in reverse and compatible with all caravans, trailers and most cycle carriers.
The detachable swan neck towbar is available for the new Vauxhall Mokka. The neck is removable and can be detached after every tow, making the Towbar practically invisible, and the rear parking sensors can work as expected. Due to the design of the towbar neck, the detachable swan neck is ALKO compatible, which means that an ALKO isn't required if you wish to tow a caravan with an ALKO hitch. The detachable swan neck can also carry most cycle carriers if the carrier attaches via the towball.
