More about the Porsche Cayenne
With Porsche’s 'ParkAssist' offering a three-hundred-and-sixty-degree view around the vehicle, featuring four cameras alongside sensors, the Porsche Cayenne provides maximum spatial awareness. When looking to connect up to your trailer or caravan, this all-around awareness simplifies the process and allows a more stress-free hitching.
What's my Towing Capacity?
The new Porsche Cayenne has a braked towing capacity of up to a maximum of 3500kg, putting it on par with many commercial vehicles. Even larger caravans are no problem for the Cayenne. Please refer to the vehicle’s VIN plate to confirm the exact capacity of your Porsche Cayenne.
Which Towbar is best for my Porsche Cayenne?
The fixed flange towbar allows the mounting of various accessories, including bumper protector plates and bolt-on cycle carriers, along with ALKO tow balls for compatibility with ALKO stabilisers. For vehicles with parking sensors, the fixed flange is not recommended as there is the possibility of the sensors detecting the towbar.
A detachable swan neck towbar has a removable neck which can be detached when the towbar is not being used. This avoids impacting the vehicle's striking appearance, whilst preventing interference with sensors on the vehicle as the neck is not permanently attached. The swan neck style of the towbar is also compatible with ALKO stabilisers without requiring an additional towball, simply needing the paint removed from the towball.
Will it need a bumper cut?
The Porsche Cayenne requires a non-visible bumper cut to the lower edge of the bumper, allowing fitting with a minimal impact on the vehicle’s aesthetics.
