Which Towbar is best for my Omoda 5?
We currently offer the detachable swan neck towbar for the Omoda 5. The swan-neck shape not only looks more elegant than traditional straight couplings but also keeps the towbar compatible with stabilisers like AL-KO without requiring a replacement ball and is less likely to interfere with reversing sensors when on the vehicle.
What makes the detachable swan-neck option especially practical is that it gives you the freedom to reclaim the rear of your vehicle for everyday use; once removed, the hitch point is mostly hidden away, and you can even store the towball safely in a storage bag with the lockable system provided. This means you can switch quickly between towing tasks — whether that’s a trailer, a carrier or other tow-mounted accessories — and a cleaner, unobstructed look when you’re simply driving around town or packing up for a weekend away.
