More about The Mitsubishi L200
The Superior 4WD system instantly switches between modes as the conditions differ, allowing the driver to feel confident no matter the terrain. The clever system will run on 2WD on the tarmac for fuel efficiency and then swap to locked rear differential power for mud, sand, gravel or snow.
The Mitsubishi L200 is equipped with all the innovative technology that makes every journey enjoyable, comfortable and safe. The advanced safety features in the Mitsubishi L200 include Lane Departure Warning, Hill Start Assist, Trailer Stability Assist, and even a 7- airbag system.
Despite its relatively compact size, the Mitsubishi L200 is renowned for its spacious cabin size, offering better legroom than any other truck in its class. The driver's sitting position is often compared to cars, allowing them to sit snug and relaxed compared to the traditional pick-up perch.
What's my Towing Capacity?
The Mitsubishi L200 has a towing capacity of 3,500KG, the maximum that any vehicle can legally tow. The L200 is the perfect all-around towing vehicle with plenty of options when you decide what you want to tow. As a company, we always advise checking the towing capacity on your vehicle's VIN plate before booking a towbar fitment.
Which Towbar is best for my L200 Pickup?
The only Towbar available for the Mitsubishi L200 is the fixed flange towbar, a small chunky towbar that offers towing accessories attached to the plate at the rear of the Towbar. The fixed flange towbar is the only style of Towbar that allows for all cycle carriers to be carried. If using the fixed flange towbar to tow a caravan with an ALKO stabiliser, an ALKO-style towbar must be purchased before towing. The fixed flange towbar is a permanent towbar that cannot be removed after towing; however, due to the size of the L200s chassis, the Towbar will look neat and compact once towing has been completed.
Will it need a bumper cut?
When fitting a fixed flange towbar to the Mitsubishi L200, the towbar engineer can complete the job without any need to modify the vehicle's bumper. However, please note that if your L200 has been changed, this may lead to the towbar engineer having to cut into the bumper to complete the fitment.
