We offer a versatile range of Land Rover Discovery towbars for your car
The Landrover Discovery 3 & 4 are unusual when it comes to having a towbar fitted because they already have a mounting point for the towbar hidden behind a panel in the rear bumper.
The towbars are only available in the fixed flangeball and detachable swan neck options. Nearly all of the towbars that we fit to these vehicles are the detachable swan neck option.
The detachable neck part that we supply is exactly the same as the part supplied as original equipment by Landrover, with the only exception that it doesn't have a Landrover badge on. This neck simply clips in to the mount that is already present behind the panel in your bumper, and can be removed easily when you are not towing.
All the prices shown include professional mobile fitting at your home or place of work. We directly employ all of our own towbar installers and we will not simply contract out the work to a 3rd party company or self-employed towbar fitter.
Please remember to check your vehicle's towing capacity shown on the VIN plate. If your car doesn't have a towing capacity, we cannot legally fit a Towbar to your vehicle.
We recommend you do this before booking, as some vehicles vary throughout make and models (even though we may show some available).
A call out fee may be applicable if our engineer attends your appointment and your vehicle doesn't have a towing capacity.
Launched in 2004, the Land Rover Discovery 3 really paved the way for a durable collection able to tackle very rough terrain and muddy areas.
With a maximum towing weight of 3500kg, and a noseweight of 150kg, the Discovery is an outstanding towing vehicle.
The Terrain Response system means the driver can personalise the car to any situation - with the addition of constant four-wheel drive. As the king of large SUVs, it truly stands the test of time, with later models equipped with incredible electronic technology.
The vehicle has a clip in panel in the rear bumper that hides the electric sockets.
