More about the KGM Torres
Performance is equally impressive, with efficient yet capable engines that provide plenty of power for both city driving and longer trips. The Torres has been engineered with versatility in mind, offering strong towing ability alongside the reassurance of advanced driver-assistance systems for added safety. Whether navigating urban streets or exploring further afield, the KGM Torres combines style, comfort, and practicality in one confidently designed package.
What's my Towing Capacity?
The Torres has a maximum braked towing capacity of 1,500kg, making it well suited for trailers and small to medium-sized caravans. To confirm the precise towing limit for your vehicle, always check the VIN plate, typically located in one of the door frames.
Which Towbar is best for my Torres?
Currently we offer the fixed and detachable variants of the swan neck towbar for the KGM Torres.
The fixed swan neck towbar is a slim, permanent option that blends neatly with the vehicle’s design while offering excellent towing capability. Its streamlined shape means it is less likely to interfere with rear parking sensors compared to bulkier designs, though this can vary depending on sensor placement. Compatible with trailers, caravans, and clamp-on cycle carriers, the fixed swan neck is also fully suitable for use with ALKO stabilisers.
The detachable swan neck towbar provides the same strength and reliability as a fixed option but with the added benefit of removability. Using a simple twist-and-push mechanism, the towbar neck can be detached when not in use, leaving only a discreet housing and a fold-away electric socket hidden from view. This ensures your vehicle retains its clean, uncluttered look while still being ready for towing whenever required.
Will it need a bumper cut?
The Torres only requires a non-visible bumper cut, keeping modification to the vehicle to a minimum and allowing the installation to be hidden from sight when the towbar is not in use.
