What’s is the Jaguar XF Towing Capacity?
The towing capacity of the XF will vary from vehicle to vehicle, and you must check your towing capacity stated on your VIN plate for more information. On a standard Jaguar XF, the towing capacity is approx. between 1800kg and 2000kg with a nose weight of approx. 125kg dependant on the Towbar fitted. The engineer will inform you of these details at the time of fitment. Alternatively, our customer service team can provide this information for you.
Which Towbar is best for my Jaguar XF?
We can fit three types of towbars on the Jaguar XF, both Saloon and Sport Brake. Fixed Flange, Fixed Swan Neck and Detachable Swan Neck Towbars. If your XF has parking sensors, we recommend you have the detachable swan neck towbar fitted to your car as we can not guarantee the fixed towbars will not set parking sensors off. Sometimes there is an option of turning your parking sensors off inside your vehicle; however, you will need to look at your manual to determine whether this function is available.
Will my Jaguar XF need a bumper cut?
Sometimes we can get away from cutting the bumper for a more aesthetically pleasing view of your vehicle; however, unfortunately, on the Jaguar XF, there is a non-visible bumper cut on the underside of the vehicle. When having a detachable swan neck fitted, you shouldn’t see the required bumper cut even without the towbar neck attached.
