What's my Towing Capacity?
The Isuzu D-Max has a maximum towing capacity of 3.5 kg, this generous towing capacity will allow the driver an abundance of towing opportunities. We always advise checking your vehicle's VIN plate to provide an accurate towing capacity for your Isuzu D-Max.
Which Towbar is best for my Isuzu D-Max?
The only towbar that has been manufactured for the Isuzu D-Max is the fixed flange towbar. The fixed flange towbar is the only towbar that is fitted with a plate at the rear of the towbar, the plate allows for towing accessories to be fitted. Users can bolt on accessories like bumper protector plates and bolt-on cycle carriers whilst leaving the tow ball free for towing. The fixed flange towbar is the only towbar able to tow any cycle carrier, providing plenty of options when deciding what and how to tow. The fixed flange towbar is compatible with all trailers, caravans, and cycle carriers. If the driver is towing a caravan with an ALKO stabiliser an ALKO tow ball would need to be fitted before towing.
Will it need a bumper cut?
When fitting the fixed flange towbar to the Isuzu D-Max there will be no bumper cut made, however, if your vehicle has been modified in any way this may lead to modifications being made to your vehicle at the time of installation. Our informative towbar engineer will always discuss any modifications to your vehicle at the beginning of the installation.
