What is the towbar rated to on a BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo?

The maximum towbar rating depends on the exact BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo and towbar application. The towbar has its own maximum towing weight and vertical-load limit, which must be considered alongside the limits specified for the vehicle itself.

A higher-rated towbar does not increase the amount that the BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo is permitted to tow.
