Towbar Express has recently decided to sponsor a local junior cricket team to help the local children in the community excel at the start of their sporting journey.
As well as providing a new kit for the Junior Castleton Cricket Club to wear in their matches, Towbar Express have also donated thigh pads, batting gloves, wicket-keeper gear & helmets.
The village of Castleton is a rural village hiding in the North Yorkshire Moors just outside of Whitby.
The handful of quaint houses boast a community spirit; with two pubs, sporting areas, and high street amenities, it’s an idyllic secret spot.
The neighbouring village of Danby is home to the North Yorkshire Danby Moors Visiting Centre, a delicious local bakery & close by to the Yorkshire Cycle Hub too.
The two villages are situated in the Esk Valley, which is otherwise known as ‘Heartbeat Country’ and sit along the Esk Valley Railway line, a picturesque route running through the valley.
