The Kia Sportage offers a surround-view monitor that allows the driver a 360-degree view of the vehicle, allowing for easier parking or moving at speeds below 10km/h.

The Kia Sportage has a towing capacity of between 1,350KG and 1650KG, making it the perfect SUV for towing anything from a small trailer to a medium caravan. The best method for checking your Kia's towing capacity is by referring to the vehicle's VIN plate.
Which Towbar is best for my Kia Sportage?
The Kia Sportage has three different styles of Towbar available, a fixed swan neck towbar, a fixed flange style towbar and a detachable swan neck towbar. All three styles of towbars are compatible with trailers and caravans, although if you use an ALKO stabiliser, the fixed flange towbar will require an ALKO towball before towing.
The fixed flange towbar is the only style of Towbar that allows you to tow all types of cycle carriers; the bolt-on style cycle carriers can be attached to the plate on the rear of the flange towbar.
If your Kia Sportage is equipped with rear parking sensors, the fixed swan neck or detachable swan neck are your best option; due to the thin design, they are less likely to cause any disturbance to the parking sensors when the vehicle is in reverse. Due to the chunky design of the fixed flange towbar, it is more likely to cause the reverse sensors to activate when the vehicle is in reverse.
The Detachable swan neck towbar is the only style of Towbar where the neck can be detached from its housing. Using a simple twist and push method, the towbar neck easily clicks out of place, allowing the Kia Sportage to return to its original aesthetics.
Will it need a bumper cut?
All three styles of towbars available for the 2022 model Kia Sportage require a bumper cut at installation time. However, the incision that will be made will be minimal; it will only be visible when looking at the vehicle's undertray. If you have modified your KIA Sportage or the bumper is not the standard design, this could make the bumper cut required larger. All the necessary modifications to the vehicle's aesthetics will be discussed before the fitment starts.
