The new G5 cycle carrier from Thule is simple to use and takes up to 4 bikes with the addition of a 4th bike adapter. It weighs 19kg for the 3 bike version, and has ergonomically placed handle grips to make it is easy to lift it onto the tow ball and then push down the single lever to lock it into place. Minimal adjustment may be required first time out to get a firm grip on the tow ball.
Tilting is an easy one person operation. The tilt angle can be adjusted to allow the Thule G5 to be used on vehicles with vertical tailgates, such as the VW T5 Transporter.
The EuroClassic G5 should fit all swan neck towbars and detachable towbars. It fits to flangeball towbars, however you may need an extended Alko towball to allow enough clearance. These are £24.99.
